Sankofa Directions………..An informational website that aims to stimulate a creative frame of mind towards the future in achnowledgement of the past.
To encourage links across the Diaspora supporting the educational attainment of pupils of African / Caribbean Heritage, and to help increase the awareness of other children and young people of the history and culture of the Diaspora lands.
The site will aim to explore links within education, the creative arts and cultural expression that will exemplify this way of empowering children, young people and communities and disseminate good practice from Educational establishments, Heritage based events, projects and key News features. The site makes use of opportunities to practically involve teachers, children and young people.
